in reality, that was a lucky punch, if it went the distance, fedor wouldve have lost, if theres a rematch, arlovski would win just how he was doing in the first couple minutes, his 1 2 combo is too fast for fedor and hes way lighter on his feet, the only way he would loose and the only way that hes ever lost is by knock-out, hes never lost a round and never been submitted- hell be back and gain his crown
Wow another sweet ass knockout! Thsi card’s been good that way lol. I don’t think it was luck, it was precise timing and that’s what fedor does, he doesn’t mess up those shots.
Lucky punch? Yeah ok.. All those other lucky punches and submissions he got on other top fighters? If it went the distance? Fedor would have taken him down, and Arlovski would have been his bitch.. Just like you, and all these other homos, trying to say “Well, yeah, if they fight again, THIS time, Arlovski is going to win!” You said he was going to win this one, didn’t you? So why do you think all of a sudden this one is going to be different? Arlovski didn’t do anything wrong, Fedor just pwned him.. Hands down.. Yes, the only way he has lost is by knockout, because Arlovski has a glass jaw.. And he’s never been submitted, because they knock him out.. Just man up, admit the fact that he lost to a better fighter, and get over it..
I’m not one to call punches lucky, but that is a lucky fuckin punch! He’s looking down at the mat, no idea where Arlovski is, throws a sloppy ass looping right that happens to connect cause Arlovski is coming in with the knee. Good thing cause he was on his way to a KO. NOT impressed!
GSP_Rules, your wrong. I watched the after fight interview with Fedor, and he wasn’t even worried. He thought he was controlling the fight the whole time. Just cause Arlovski was fast, didn’t meen The Last Emperor was countering ‘em all. Thats why the Pit Bull got K.O.ed….sucka.
I love how people try to say certain KO’s are lucky. These guys are the top of the food chain, they are AIMING for their target and when they hit it, somehow it’s luck? Please.
In slow motion he was knocked out milliseconds right after he put all his momentum into his flying knee. Witch resulted in Andrei simulating the effects of a jet fighter loosing conciseness do to lack of blood being pumped to the brain, do to extreme g-forces from Fedor’s kinetic fist of energy resulting in a black out or in his case being knocked the fuck out just before going air burn, Fedor just schooled him in the laws of gravity. What comes up must come down!

For all the people who are saying it was a lucky punch, he threw a punch intended on landing on the jaw, and thats what happened.
If you look he baits Andrei in, knowing he’ll rush into the corner if he looks weak, and he did. I don’t think Fedor planned on a flying knee, but he knew Andrei was going to rush in.
Man that really sucks.. Andrei was doing good too. If it wasnt for him trying that dumb flying knee again he couldve overwhelmed fedor with his speed and sraight shots. But Fedor is awesome, nice outside right.

Bad job comparing it to soccer. The UFC may be in the USA but the top fighters have often been from other countries (GSP=Canada, Silva=Brasil, etc)

Fedor realized that Arlovski was took fast and suckered him into a brawl. Very smart fighter. Improvised and overcame the strength of Arlovski. In a rematch Arlovski should stay outside and boxing until the late rounds and not rush in.

I think, Fedor always learns his oponent’s game, that’s why he always knows how to take ‘em down. He is realy good. I’m sure fight isn’t easy in the proffesional ring or cage with another fighter and also, little scare for everyone. When you scare or worry, I don’t think luck is with you. You can win if you are realy good and smart in the ring. He knew what he’s doing. Yeap, he’s best of the best.
People stop saying that was lucky , he would be beaten and etc. The facts is facts. Fedor is more skilled , patient,calm,cold as ice,never shows his feelings in the ring,strong fast explosive.+etc. If he would be in trouble,he would take the fight to the ground,but when arlovski wanted to take it down he didnt let it, and stayed to fight standing why?Becouse he was`nt in trouble at all he is too clever,and he shooled one more overrated boy in the style which is more effectivive for AA as everyone are speaking his punches are better..and he has more power… nah it isnt. The most hardest fight for Fiodar which he had ever in the rings was against Mirco Cro cop filipovic, when the fight lasted to the end and only judges took the decision,i admit that judges have choosed truthly the winner becouse when you watch all fight the Fiodar domination is abviosly seen,but anyway Mirco was Hardest Thing he had met in the ring, and no anderson no silva no aa or lesnar will be in a such level like mirco was for Fiodar.Becouse those 2 fighters are true wariors,and both of them very intelligent and clever persons.

arlovski is my favourite fighter he was doing well until he got caught, the thing is i don’t beleive in luck when it comes to fighting there is no lucky punch because every punch thrown is thrown with the intent of hitting your opponent,
i was kind of blinded by the ufc when it came to fedor, hearing everyone saying he is overated and such,after researching fedor i can honestly say he is not overrated and in fact he is a beast and i would love to see him tear lesnar apart
Fedor isn’t a lucky fighter.Watch any one of his 29 undefeaed bouts, and you can clearly see that he thinks, then moves.That was playing possum for sure.Not saying that Arlovski isn’t a great fighter,however he become to into the moment and thought the cat was in the bag, So he jumped the gun.If the fight would of made it passed the 1st round, I can say Fedor would of sweeped one of Arlovski’s kicks early into the 2nd round and took some heart away from Arlovski.Either way it went down how it went down.Btw- Lesnar VS Fedor?

People are master in everything medical, painting, cooking but when it comes to fighting Fedor is a true master in not sambo or judo but in mixed martial arts people.he never breaks , like in the fight against fujita, kevin randleman, he broke down great strikers like cro cop and also great grapplers like minotoro who i respectfully think is one of the greatest jiujitsu grappler.he has fought quickguys, big guys and huge guys. if he does fight Lesnar i hope for the best on both fighters.

Not sure how the standup game would have went further on if the game lasted but my prediction is EVEN if Arlovski was to continue getting the better of Fedor on boxing, Fedor would have successfully evaded damage as he did up to the knockout, and would have taken the fight to the ground, where he would have dominated. All in all ,the fight ended as it should have

Wow, Ive noticed after the clinch at 3:26 that during the stand up Fedor looked a little bit off centred or just didnt feel he had that normal rhythm with him.Not being a critic or anything but you see his other fights and he seemed ready, with his stance more spread out which made those peek-a-boo power hooks so dangerous.But Fedor is still the Man though and he doesnt need to go to the UFC prove that he’s any different.But thats the thing he doesnt fight to prove anything he just fights cause he loves the sport and Martial Arts.Thats what you call a Warrior.
